Hello All,
While you're contacting your representatives to let them know of your disapproval of how the response to hurricane Katrina has been handled, please also demand to know why the president has not ordered our flags at half staff and why he hasn't had and attended a national day of prayer at the Cathedral as was done for 9-11!??!?
from rules for flag display: "The president shall order the flag to be displayed at half staff at any time of national tragedy or the death of foreign or domestic dignitaries".
I WANT A NEW GOVERNMENT!! WE NEED NEW LEADERSHIP!! This has been an unacceptable response from our government to a disaster on our soil. Let your voices be heard friends.
