It's the day of the presidential election. Outside your polling place, a stranger asks who you're voting for, and you answer the question. Then the stranger tells you that he had intended to vote for the opposing candidate. But he voted by absentee ballot, and upon checking his copy, he realized that he accidentally voted for your candidate. He seems sincere, and he shows you his absentee ballot to verify his story. He asks if you will vote for his candidate -- effectively trading votes. What would you do?
(Yes, I did get this idea from an episode of The West Wing.)

No, I don't think I could. I wouldn't rule out a long discussion over a cup of coffee regarding why each of us supports the candidates we support. But only after I voted...
